Refund and Cancellation Policy: PDF Census

Triage Report ($490 or $990)

We can't scan your site. If your site blocks our crawler, puts its PDFs behind a login, or is unavailable, we will tell you before delivery. You may choose a full refund or a new delivery date.
Late delivery. If we have not delivered within 5 business days of your order (3 promised plus 2 days' grace), you may ask for a full refund and keep anything we deliver later.
You change your mind before we start. Cancel before we begin your scan (we start within 1 business day) for a full refund.
Something in the Report is wrong. Tell us within 30 days of delivery. We will re-check the files you name at no charge and send a corrected Report. If we can't correct a material error, we will refund you in full.
Your site is larger than your tier. If your site hosts more than 10,000 PDFs, we quote the larger scope before starting; if you decline, we refund in full.
Pays-for-itself guarantee. If your Triage Report doesn't show at least $490 of avoidable remediation (the report's "fix everything" low estimate minus its "fix first" low estimate is less than the price you paid), tell us within 30 days of delivery and we refund you in full.
After delivery, the Report is a finished digital deliverable and is otherwise not refundable.

Cancel any time by emailing us. We will not charge you again.
If you cancel within 7 days of a renewal charge and before we have run that quarter's scan, we refund that quarter in full. Otherwise the current quarter runs to its end and is not prorated.

If you paid by invoice, we refund by check or ACH to the paying entity within 15 business days. Unpaid invoices for cancelled orders are voided.

Card refunds go back to the original card through Stripe; banks usually post them within 5 to 10 business days.

Please email us before disputing a charge with your bank; we answer within 1 business day and will usually refund faster than a chargeback resolves.
